Our Story
“Explore Snowdonia started as a simple Instagram account called Snowdonia Pics, where I shared snapshots from my first adventures in this incredible region. What began as a personal project to document my hikes and explorations quickly took off, gaining popularity as more people connected with the beauty and spirit of Snowdonia through my photos.
As the community grew, it became clear that there was a real passion for discovering Snowdonia’s wild landscapes, hidden gems, and outdoor experiences. So, I decided to evolve the account into something bigger and more purposeful and that’s when Explore Snowdonia was born.
Since then, it’s become one of the most popular social accounts dedicated to Snowdonia, bringing together a community of adventurers, locals, and visitors who all share a love for this amazing place. What started with just a few photos has grown into a vibrant platform, where we celebrate everything Snowdonia has to offer, from epic hikes and stunning viewpoints to local stories and community events.
